hot release alert by our boy paul du lac who is a long time close friend of the frustrated family, colleague at the clone office and an old dj buddy of frustrated funk label boss klen (when they played the nighttown basement in the early 90s). so it s a bit of a special thing for us having him aboard. this ep shows pauls signature minimalistic approach on chicago style house. typical jacking 707s and 808s combined with minimal synth pulses. qom and access are pure jackin bliss for the floor while moodswings goes deeper with layers of warm pads and spaced out stings. the title track comes with a stripped beats version from tevo howard, for those who like to mix things up.. highly recommended!!

brassfoot makes his dba debut following a number of appearances at the dba presents parties. since breaking through with his apron ep on funkinevens world-leading label in 2015, brassfoot has turned heads with releases on uttu, paul du lac s bio rhythm, and his own seminal nca recordings. on the indentured servitude ep brassfoot showcases his own unique stepping house and techno flavour across six tracks, with time to meditate and reflect between the party-starting peak timers also included. blinds down, crouched over my desk, i switch on my machines. whatever the final result is, i wouldn t even bother unless i was having fun first. sometimes theres just one tiny portion of magic after a long recording session, but its always about the enjoyment first. its dark inside and it influences the mood of the music. it s also dark outside and it s obvious where that leaves its mark. what s in the du name? 030303 records asked three of their favourite prod ucers with matching names to du an ep together: ann harbour s d marc cantu and mark du mosh & paul du lac, both from the dutch harbour city rotterdam. the result is dynamite! a1-mine motion- is a monsterous jacker in the rawest form how only mr cantu can du! on the b side mark du mosh takes off with a flight to -bermuda- with a hot & steamy roaring electronic beast sitting on the wing of the plane and causing some heavy turbulence. fortunatly du mosh keeps us flying high with some deep emotional synths. last but not least paul du lac delivers a dark psychedelic techtool called -beta rhythm-. a track that creeps under your skin as a virus, causing some serious haziness from noding your head. be aware that this record will appear on vinyl only!
